Refunds and returns
You are covered by UK distance selling legislation - If your order arrives damaged in transit, we will
1. replace it free of charge
2. offer you a partial or full refund.
Please contact us within seven working days of receipt of your order with details of the damage showing the issue and email us an image of the damaged areas on the sign and keep ALL the original packaging.
The house signs are individually custom made for each customer. This means they are not covered for simple returns like other mail order goods. We are not liable to accept returns for any other reason than damaged or faulty goods.
Returns are made at the customers expense, although we may waive this responsibility in certain circumstances. If on inspection of a returned house sign it is not deemed to be damaged, we reserve the right to charge you for the house sign as they are individually made to order and cannot be re-stocked or re-sold.
Any house sign supplied that does not meet the agreed specification will either be replaced free of charge or be subject to a full or partial refund of the purchase price. Please inform us by e-mail within 7 days of receipt stating clearly the reasons for rejection. Faulty product complaints need to be sent to customerservice @ yoursigns.co.uk. Alternatively the complaint may be sent by mail to our address shown at the bottom of this page. If you need to talk to us our UK telephone the number is 01983 400777 .
Email complaints will be acknowledged within two working days at the latest. It is not our policy to turn complaints into disputes - from 1995 to 2016 in over two decades of trading and selling thousands of house signs each year we have had less that 20 house signs returned due to a complaint!
Custom painted signs - Due to the nature of hand painting, we do not offer refunds if the customer simply does not like the commissioned pictorial on the sign due personal taste, we will however endeavor to alter the pictorial if the customer returns the sign to us at their expense.
